At Germany’s only and last trade fair for church outfitting you will find all kinds of curiosities that show the world of saints and believers in a different light. And this is not only due to the neon illumination. Despite the necessary discretion, icons from Polish production appear here as absurd as “fashionably” cut robes for the Easter mass. There is something almost sacred about the exhibition – and yet it remains somewhat uptight.
